Noora Rajala is a senior researcher at the Turku PET Centre in Finland. Her daily work involves clinical production of Fluorine-18 and Gallium-68 tracers and the development of new synthesis methods for clinical use as well as improvement of existing procedures. She has a Master of Science degree in Radiochemistry from University of Helsinki. Rajala is PhD candidate carrying out research with a title “Advanced 18F-radiolabeling of small molecules”. Her thesis research focuses on development of nucleophilic and transition-metal-mediated 18F-fluorination methods, and their automation.
